Our Parish Church is fifty five years old and in need of renewal works, internally and externally, to carry it forward for the next fifty years to the benefit of the generations coming after us. Thus it is planned to embark on a renewal/ refurbishment programme to our Church over the next twelve/fifteen months. It is envisaged the programme of works over the period will cost c.€1.4ml of which we have €0.4ml in the Bank . To explain the planned expenditure programme in its totality to all residents in the parish, we held a series of public information meetings in November. At each of these sessions, we had a computerised ‘walk-through model’ on a large screen, which gave all present an easier understanding of the planned programme of works and the resultant Church when completed.

At this time we are asking people to pledge money so that we can evaluate our financial position regarding the proposals
We are delighted to report that in the first three months of the campaign we received pledges for this project to the value of €100,000. A big thank you to those who got this moving. It is very encouraging for all who have put so much hard work into the project
